Cold-dry
The sample is cooled and condensate separated. Check that treatment does not remove components of interest and that the measurement basis matches the required data.
Measurement quality starts at the sampling point. An accurate analyser cannot correct a sample altered during transport.

The system delivers a sample compatible with the analyser cell while preserving the components of interest. Select the approach before sizing the cabinet, utilities and drains.
| Function | Selection criterion |
|---|---|
| Sampling and filtration | Representativeness, dust loading and maintenance access. |
| Sample line | Materials, length, internal volume and heating requirements. |
| Pressure reduction | Permitted pressure, stability and condensation risk. |
| Moisture treatment | Compatibility of cooling with the components to be measured. |
| Flow regulation | Required flow, monitoring and low-flow alarm. |
| Calibration | Test gas injection point and the section of the measurement chain being checked. |
| Venting or recovery | Backpressure, gas destination and condensate collection. |

The sample path is kept hot to prevent condensation. Temperature must be controlled along the entire line, including fittings and the analyser inlet.
Do not add a cooler by default: soluble or readily adsorbed components require a dedicated assessment.
An initial estimate of transport delay is the line volume divided by volumetric flow at actual conditions. Add the instrument response and the volumes of filters, vessels and switching assemblies.
For low-concentration oxygen, even slight air ingress can significantly affect the reading. Check leak integrity, fittings, materials and pressure along the entire path.
We work with you to define the sampling point, sample schematic and scope of supply for panels and cabinets. The scope can include P&IDs, bills of materials, connections and agreed functional checks.

No. It depends on the technology and components. Some applications require the sample to remain hot.
That depends on where the test gas is introduced. A test at the analyser inlet does not automatically check the entire sampling path.
