ABB absolute pressure transmitters
Absolute pressure transmitters measure relative to absolute vacuum, avoiding the influence of atmospheric pressure changes. Geyser IC supports ABB selection for vacuum applications, gas control, distillation, HVAC and industrial processes.
PAS100 and PAS300
The absolute range has a simpler selection structure than gauge pressure: PAS100 covers cost-conscious standard applications, while PAS300 is the industrial platform for higher requirements.
ABB datasheets and manuals
Download PDFs for your model. IT or EN identifies the language. Select manuals to match the instrument's communication protocol.
PAS300 / PAD300
Standard PAS300 and PAD300 with diaphragm seal.
PAS100 or PAS300?
PAS100
For standard absolute pressure measurements where budget matters and higher industrial performance or special options are unnecessary.
PAS300
An industrial platform for more demanding applications or customers with detailed specifications, offering greater configuration flexibility and performance than the essential range.
Where absolute pressure is used
Hydrogen, abrasion and materials
Check option availability for the specific model configuration.
Hydrogen applications
For hydrogen service, we assess dedicated diaphragms and coatings, including ABB H-Shield/H-Shield+, to reduce diaphragm permeation risk.
Demanding fluids
For abrasion, corrosion or special wetted-part requirements, selection goes beyond the range. We check materials, coatings and, where needed, diaphragm seals.
Older ABB absolute pressure transmitters
The legacy family guides migration, but the full code is needed to define an equivalent.

PAS100, PAS300 and replacement FAQ
When should I choose ABB PAS100?
PAS100 is the economical choice for standard absolute pressure measurements without higher industrial performance or special-option requirements.
When should I choose ABB PAS300?
PAS300 is the industrial platform for more demanding absolute measurements or customers requiring greater performance, options and robustness.
Does ABB PAS500 exist?
ABB's P-300/P-500 manual includes PAS500. Contact us to check availability, performance and configuration for your application.
What replaces ABB 261AS?
Older 261 absolute families are normally migrated to PAS100. The full code must still be checked.
What replaces ABB 264AS or 265AS?
Older 264 and 265 absolute families are normally directed towards PAS300. Configurations with a diaphragm seal are assessed on the dedicated page for transmitters with diaphragm seals.
What replaces ABB 266NSH?
The current reference family is PAS300, subject to checks on the full code and installed options.
What replaces ABB 266AST?
Assess the replacement against accuracy, materials and configuration requirements. Contact us to confirm the appropriate platform and availability.
Is knowing the instrument is an ABB 264AS enough?
No. The model only identifies the family. A correct equivalent requires the full code, serial number or a clear nameplate photograph.
