PDS300 / PDD300
Standard PDS300 and PDD300 with diaphragm seals.
Geyser IC supports ABB differential pressure transmitter selection for filters, level, flow, OEMs and process applications. PDS300 is the standard solution for most applications; PDS500 addresses higher performance or material requirements.

PDS300 normally meets requirements for filters, level, OEMs, energy, water, pulp and paper, oil and gas, and chemicals. PDS500 is considered where higher performance is required.

Plugged Impulse Line Detection analyses the process's dynamic signature and can detect changes consistent with high- or low-pressure line blockage before measurement becomes clearly unreliable.
Particularly useful in DP flow measurement and impulse-line applications. Not every application is suitable: sufficient process dynamics are needed for the analysis.
Gas trapped in liquid lines or condensate in gas/steam lines can cause errors and instability.
Select elevation and orientation relative to pressure taps for the liquid, gas or steam service.
Incorrect equalisation, pressurisation or depressurisation sequences can expose the sensor to undesirable conditions.
264 / 265 / 267 / 269 families are normally migrated to PDS300. The full code is essential to define an equivalent.

Hastelloy may be available on PDS300, so requesting it alone does not require moving to PDS500.
Where required diaphragm or wetted materials are unavailable on PDS300, we assess PDS500.
The model alone, such as 264DS, is insufficient to identify an equivalent configuration.
266DSH.E.S.S.B.2.B.1.V2.E1.L1.C1.H3 — or the serial number, or a clear nameplate photograph showing both.PDS300 is the standard choice for most differential applications: filters, level, OEMs, energy, water, pulp and paper, oil and gas, chemicals and flow measurement without special performance requirements.
Consider PDS500 for accuracy better than 0.04%, special diaphragm or wetted materials, or very low differential pressure flow measurements, such as demanding orifice or Pitot applications.
The PDS300 platform offers typical accuracy down to 0.055%.
The PDS500 platform reaches 0.04% or 0.025%, depending on configuration.

PDS500 is the current reference family, maintaining a high-performance platform approach.
Generally yes: older 264, 265, 267 and 269 differential families are normally directed towards PDS300. Always verify the final configuration against the full code.
Yes, Hastelloy may be available on PDS300. Other special materials may require assessment of PDS500.
