Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a valve, positioner and I/P converter?
The valve physically modulates fluid flow; the positioner closes the loop on actual actuator position; the I/P converter only converts an electrical signal into a pneumatic one.
When is fully pneumatic instrumentation still required?
For legacy installations, plants with pneumatic architectures, environments avoiding local electronics or where continuity with existing instrumentation is the priority.
Does Geyser supply only ABB?
No. Control-valve supply is multibrand. ABB remains an important part of our positioner, pneumatic and I/P portfolio.
Do you supply Kent Taylor spare parts?
Yes. Older ABB/Kent Taylor valves are no longer a current range, but we support spare-parts sourcing, retrofits and multibrand replacement.
